• Local History: Archival stories from sources like The Bay Ridge Home Reporter or Brooklyn Daily Eagle, covering topics such as early neighborhood development and local legends.

• Food & Culture: Episodes frequently feature restaurant recommendations and interviews with local business owners.

• Community Events: Updates and on-the-scene recaps of neighborhood happenings like Wing Wars, holiday festivities, and Tastes of Third Avenue.

• Humor & Human Interest: Regular comedic segments are provided by "Freddie Friday," along with local classifieds and news roundups.

Our broad hyper-local target audience encompasses the people of Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, Bensonhurst, and Bath Beach, roughly totaling 250,000 people. They value local content, being in the know within the community, and inspiring local stories that enrich their daily lives.

Our Community

Our objective is to provide the people of our core southern Brooklyn neighborhoods with a service offering local knowledge, news, inspiration, and entertainment in a listening format that can be consumed at home or on the go on all podcast platforms.

While there are civic organizations, BIDs, non-profits, individual entities and other organizations in Bay Ridge, there’s no centralized email newsletter and events calendar. This endeavors to create a go-to weekly briefing on what’s happening in Bay Ridge, which organizations can funnel news and information through to each other and the public at large.

OUR OBJECTIVE

• Important news and other happenings, which can be submitted for free to be posted within the email.

• Events can be submitted for free inclusion

• A photo of the week, which can be submitted for potential inclusion for free

• Classified ads can be affordably purchased
